5 MORE Dairy Free Lunch Ideas For Toddlers

The thing about toddlers is this: They love something one day and HATE it the next. That's why you need plenty of meal idea options at the ready so your not stuck with a toddler freaking out about eating something they devoured yesterday but all of a sudden hate today!

I've previously shared 5 dairy free lunch ideas and now I'm back with 5 more!

LUNCH IDEA #1
-HARD BOILED EGG
-PRETZEL STICKS
-PEAS
-PLUMS

Sometimes you just need to work with what you have at home and sometimes that means your lunch looks like a bunch of random things thrown together (cause it is!) Eggs are a super simple lunch idea that you can make in so many ways! Really filling as well. Paired with a few pretzel sticks, some peas and chopped plums.

LUNCH IDEA #2
-EGG SALAD SANDWICH ON WHOLE WHEAT
-BROCCOLI
-APPLE SLICES

Egg salad sandwiches are one of Lux's most favourite lunches! She gobbles them down in no time. She's sort of picky with her bread and definitely prefers white but I try to sneak whole wheat in every now and then. We paired this with some broccoli and apple slices :)

LUNCH IDEA #3
-LEFTOVER HAMBURGER
-SNAP PEAS
-SWEET CORN
-HONEYDEW MELON STICKS

If I'm being 100% honest - lunch around here is usually leftovers from the previous nights supper! It's way cheaper and a lot more convenient to just heat up leftovers for lunch. On this day we had hamburgers the night before so I cut some up and added a little ketchup for dipping. Paired it with snap peas, corn and yummy honeydew sticks!

LUNCH IDEA #4
- HOMEMADE DAIRY FREE MAC'N'CHEESE
-PEAS
-CANTALOUPE STICKS

Not trying to brag or anything - but I make a mean dairy free mac'n'cheese! 😎 I'll share the recipe on here soon I promise! But if you don't want to make your own dairy free mac'n'cheese you can always buy a store bought version (Daiya's is pretty good and I know in some places you can get Annies dairy free mac'n'cheese?) Anyway, Lux loves this homemade stuff so that's what we go with! This day she had peas and cantaloupe sticks on the side.

LUNCH IDEA #5
- SPINACH AND TOMATO EGG CUPS
- CUCUMBER STICKS WITH HOMEMADE DAIRY FREE RANCH
-PEAR SLICES

Seeing as this is the third 'egg' option I'm guessing this was a pretty eggy week haha! Egg cups are so easy to make and you can add anything you want to them. Just mix up some eggs as you would when you scramble them, add in your spinach and tomato- a few seasonings if you wish, and fill up a muffin tin with your mixture and pop them in the oven! There are TONS of recipe ideas on Pinterest for these! To go with the cucumber sticks I made a batch of dairy free ranch (also super easy and I'll share the recipe soon!) and paired it with sliced pears!

And that's that! 5 more easy, dairy free lunch ideas! Share your favourite go-to lunch idea down below!
