Recently on the blog I've shared 7 dairy free breakfast ideas for toddlers! (check that out if you haven't already!) and since we've got breakfast covered I figured I'd share with you 5 dairy free LUNCH ideas.

Let's not waste any time and just jump right in to the lunch ideas!

LUNCH IDEA #1
- AVOCADO, TOASTED PITA CHIPS AND HUMMUS
- SWEET CORN
- CLEMENTINE

Avocados are great for your toddler's growing body! Super rich in healthy fats and fiber. Pair it with these Wheat Thins toasted pita chips (our fave!) and some hummus and you've got one delicious, toddler friendly lunch! I served it up with some sweet corn and a juicy clementine.

LUNCH IDEA #2
-TUNA ROLLS
-BROCCOLI & CARROTS
-PEACHES

If you've never introduced your toddler to fish yet, tuna is a great way to start. However, tuna is considered a medium-mercury fish so stick to only giving your toddler tuna maybe once a week! Instead of using regular ol' bread I rolled up some tuna salad (tuna, lettuce & mayo) on a tortilla wrap and sliced it to fit inside teeny toddler hands :)
Paired with broccoli and carrots and delicious peaches!

LUNCH IDEA #3
-TURKEY AND MAYO SANDWICH
-SLICED YELLOW PEPPERS
-DICED PLUMS

Lunch meat is something we very rarely feed Lux but, on occasion and when you're in a pinch, a lunch meat sandwich is the way to go! Paired with yellow bell peppers and diced plums.

LUNCH IDEA #4
-CHICKEN POT PIE PASTA
-CUCUMBER
-DICED PINEAPPLE

Okay, so you're probably thinking - what the heck is chicken pot pie pasta??- well, let me start by saying this lunch was created on a whim one day when I had no idea what to feed her! I had a can of dairy free "chicken pot pie" soup laying around and thought "what can I make with this for her lunch?" SO I heated it up and mixed it into some macaroni noodles. Voila! Chicken pot pie pasta! (it was actually pretty darn tasty too!)
With that she had some cucumber chunks and diced pineapple.

LUNCH IDEA #5
-CHICKEN AND SPINACH FILLED PITAS
-CARROTS
-SLICED RED GRAPES

I found these mini pitas at the grocery store and they're just perfect for cutting open and stuffing. I mixed up chicken, spinach and a bit of mayo and then stuffed a little inside each one. Just the right size for toddlers!
Paired it with carrots and sliced grapes!

So there you have it! 5 dairy free lunch ideas I think any toddler would love! Let me know some of your favourite lunch ideas!
