Victoria Park | Truro, NS

Victoria Park is a park I have wanted to see for a very long time. I had heard pretty great things about it and decided I needed to see it for myself. So one day, we did just that.

Victoria Park is 3,000 acres and over 130 years old. There is SO much to do there you could honestly spend an entire day at this park. A few things Victoria Park has to offer is waterfalls, a gorge, a river and a gorgeous Hemlock forest to wander through. There's also a playground, an outdoor  heated swimming pool, tennis courts- everything! If you can't find something to do there, I don't know what to tell ya!

This staircase is called Jacob's Ladder. Its a 175 step climb.
Yes, we did climb it.
Yes, I did stop halfway to catch my breath.
Yes, I wanted to die by the time we reached the top.

This park was absolutely incredible and I'll never forget this day. I'm most positive that we'll return one day and I'm really looking forward to it.

  2. Gorgeous!!!! Where is this located? And the steps remind me of the climb we did to Cabrini Shrine in Colorado. I think that was 300 steps but the view at the top was amazing!!
